Washington Trust’s Elizabeth Henthorne Named to PBN’s 40 Under Forty

Westerly, RI - June 19. 2020 - Elizabeth Henthorne, Vice President, Enterprise Risk Management at The Washington Trust Company, has been selected by Providence Business News’ (PBN) for a 40 Under Forty award. PBN recognizes individuals, within this age group, for their career success and community involvement.
Elizabeth joined Washington Trust in 2014 and manages legal service and reporting for the Bank. She also manages the Bank’s corporate insurance program and is a key member of the Enterprise Risk Management and governance program. She currently serves on the Governance Committee for the Jonnycake Center of Westerly and the Planning Committee for the Pawcatuck Neighborhood Center. In 2019, Henthorne began volunteering for the Saint Elizabeth Community and helped plan the annual Rose Bids fundraising event.

Elizabeth holds a Bachelor of Arts from the State University of New York at Purchase College, a Master of Business Administration from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, and a Juris Doctor from Roger Williams University School of Law. Henthorne is a licensed attorney in Rhode Island, Massachusetts and Connecticut. She resides in East Greenwich, Rhode Island with her husband and two children.
Elizabeth and the other PBN award recipients will be honored at a virtual awards ceremony on July 16th.
