Washington Trust Presented with Thundermist Health Center’s 2019 Community Partnership Award

Warwick, Rhode Island– Thundermist Health Center presented The Washington Trust Company with the 2019 Community Partnership Award during the Center’s annual meeting held on Monday, March 11th in Warwick, Rhode Island. Washington Trust Chairman and CEO Ned Handy accepted the award from Jeanne LaChance, President and CEO of Thundermist.

Thundermist, which is celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2019, is a community health center serving three Rhode Island communities - Woonsocket, West Warwick, and South County. The Thundermist Board of Directors established the Community Partnership Award to recognize an organization that has provided exceptional support to the health center. Washington Trust has long been a partner in helping Thundermist achieve its mission, recently supporting the expansion of the Center’s West Warwick and Woonsocket facilities - a development that has assisted the organization in its care for more than 48,000 patients.
