Washington Trust Donates $9,000 to Local Food Pantries in Connecticut, Massachusetts & Rhode Island

Westerly, RI – This week, ahead of Thanksgiving and the upcoming holiday season, the Washington Trust Charitable Foundation donated a total of $9,000 to assist 18 local food pantries located in the Southern New England communities the Bank serves.
The Washington Trust Charitable Foundation provided $500 donations to the following local organizations:
- Block Island, RI: Helping Hands of Block Island
- Cranston, RI: Comprehensive Community Action in Cranston
- Hope Valley, RI: Wood River Health Services
- Johnston, RI: Tri-Town Community Action
- North Kingstown, RI: North Kingstown Food Pantry
- Peace Dale, RI: Jonnycake Center
- Providence, RI: Intown Churches Association
- Rumford, RI: Bread of Life Food Pantry in Rumford
- Warwick, RI: Westbay Community Action
- Westerly, RI: W.A.R.M. Shelter and Jonnycake Center
- Darien, CT: Person to Person
- Glastonbury, CT: Glastonbury Food and Fuel Bank
- New Haven, CT: Christian Community Action
- Pawcatuck, CT: Pawcatuck Neighborhood Center in Pawcatuck
- Burlington, MA: Greater Boston Food Bank
- Needham, MA: Needham Community Council
- Sharon, MA: HESSCO Elder Services
